Ila "Dottie" Johnson, 98, of Deweyville died Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Kountze Nursing Home.

A native of Fields, LA, she was a longtime residence of Deweyville. Dottie was a LVN for over 30 years and worked at St Mary's and St. Elizabeth Hospitals among other inside and outside the Golden Triangle. She was a member of Vidor Faith Assembly of God.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Oct. 23, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Dottie is survived by her son Don Johnson of Columbia, MO; daughters Gwendolyn Guin and Lisa McFarland both of Deweyville; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
