WOS Stallions win two, lose one to HF Short Horns

The Stallions traveled to Hamshire-Fannett Thursday night to battle the Short Horns. In the first game of the night the combined B team won by a score of 16-6. The Horns scored first, but WOS would answer with a touchdown by Armani Wallace. Kaiden Berry added two points on the conversion. Late in the game with less than two minutes to go, Berry intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. Wallace was successful on the conversion. To go along with the interception on defense, the Stallions recovered two fumbles. One by Davion Coleman and the other by Iverson Godfrey.

In the second game the 7A team won 20-6. Patrick Mickey would start off the scoring with a rushing touchdown followed by another from Jerren Terrell. Darryl Bowens connect with Malachi Rachal for the third touchdown. Andre Thomas converted a two point conversion to complete the scoring for the Stallions. Jacob Dominguez was a terror on defense with several tackles for a loss and a quarterback sack. Rachal recovered a fumble by the Short Horns.


In the final game of the night the 8A team lost a tough game 12-6. Ta'ron Riley had the lone touchdown for the Stallions on a 60 yard run. The defense was lead by Devon Thornton.

WOSMS will host Hardin Jefferson next Thursday with kickoff at 5:00 pm.
