Inez Marie Rost Adams, 91, of Orange, passed away Jan. 12, in Orange. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, Jan. 15, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Joseph Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM, Thursday, Jan. 14, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

Born in Kaplan, La, Aug. 21, 1924, she was the daughter of Amedias Rost and Eva Vincent Rost.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Adams, Sr.;and brother, Claness Rost.

She is survived by Lona Mae Adams Richard of Kaplan and her children, Gerald Richard and partner Robert Fritz of Placitas NM; Anthony and wife Tracy Richard of Kaplan, Gregory and wife Shelly Richard of Chappell Hill, Anne Richard and Renee Richard and fiancé Wesley Bertrand all of Kaplan; Denise Adams of Orange and her children, Christopher and wife Suzy Matthew of Vidor, Nicholas Matthew and Alfred (Peewee) Jr. and wife Tamela Adams, all of Orange and their children, Chere’ and husband Adam Woods of Mauriceville and Davlyn Adams of Dallas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Richard, Anthony Richard, Gregory Richard, Christopher Matthew, Nicholas Matthew and Davlyn Adams.
