Annual Art in the Park event set for April 9

The City of Orange Convention & Visitor’s Bureau is hosting the 14th Annual Art in the Park event on Saturday, April 9, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM at Stark Park to coincide with the Redfish Classic Fishing Tournament.

This event will include over 100 artist and crafters who will display a variety such as paintings, wood work, painted glass, metal sculptures, pottery, monogrammed items, books, informational booths about community organizations, jewelry, crocheted items, hand-made soaps, face painting and much more. Food vendors will be serving BBQ, seafood, hamburgers, hot dogs, kabobs, nachos, cotton candy, baked goods and drinks.

There will also be live entertainment by the Night & Day Orchestra at 10:00AM, followed by Country Outkasts at 1:00PM.

A children’s activity area will include bounce houses, pony rides and petting zoo for all the kids to enjoy.

This is a free event for all to enjoy. Please No Dogs, No Pets, and No Coolers. “The purpose of the Art in the Park event is to promote the arts with artists and crafters on display throughout the day. Also, the event is intended to promote tourism and hotel stays by highlighting downtown attractions and in support of the Redfish Classic Fishing Tournament scheduled for April 8-10,” says Brandy Judice, CVB Coordinator for The City of Orange.
