The National Weather Service is expecting scattered showers and thunderstorms each day over the next week, but the highest rain chances will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will run a little above normal during this period, with maximum heat indices on the 100 to 107 F range this weekend into early next week.

Along the coast, tides will continue to run a little above normal.

In the tropics, there is a small chance for a tropical cyclone to develop Friday or Saturday in the Bay of Campeche. No impacts from this potential system is expected in our region.
