Yesterday morning before 9 a.m., Attorney Jim Sharon Bearden, Jr., a lawyer from Orange County, was abducted from his home and brought to a banking institution in Port Arthur where he was forced to withdraw large sums of cash.

Bearden's home is in the Dishon Plantation, off of 1442, just outside of the Bridge City city limits.

Three suspects, wearing ski masks entered the home of Bearden and abducted him. He was released unharmed around 12:30 p.m. in Port Arthur.

This is an ongoing investigation and more details as statements are issued from local law enforcement. The Orange County Sheriff Department and The Port Arthur Police are handling the investigation.
