Bridge City High School competed at the UIL District Academic Meet at Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
Here are the results from this contest: in Calculator Applications, Brandon Curl placed 1st, Jacob Cunningham placed 2nd, and Michael Tran placed 3rd.

In Mathematics, Brandon Curl took 1st place and Jacob Cunningham took 6th place.

In Science, Brandon Curl took 3rd place and Cameron Brooks took 6th place. Brandon Curl received the top Physics award. In Spelling, Nicholas Pfister placed 1st, Emma Breaux placed 3rd, and Alex Gonzales placed 4th. All contestants who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd and all first place teams will advance to the UIL Regional Academic Meet in Huntsville at Sam Houston State University on April 14, 2018.
