4TH OF JULY CONCERT & FIREWORKS CELEBRATION - RELOCATION

(July 3, 2018) - Due to unfavorable weather conditions impacting the Orange area, the Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau has RELOCATED the fireworks display to the City of Orange Boat Ramp, located at 1000 Simmons Drive, and has CANCELED the concert portion of the event. The fireworks are scheduled to go off as planned at approximately 9 P.M. on Wednesday, July 4, at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.

According to the National Weather Service – Lake Charles, a 70% chance of afternoon thunderstorms show in the forecast for Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

“We are disappointed to have to cancel the concert portion of the 4th of July Concert and Fireworks event. We are currently working to reschedule the bands to accompany future events. We do want to remind everyone that the fireworks will go on at the City of Orange Boat Ramp,” says CVB Coordinator, Brandy Judice.

Due to the relocation of the fireworks display, the City of Orange Boat Ramp will be CLOSED effective Tuesday, July 3, at 6 P.M. through Wednesday, July 4, 10 P.M.
