Bishop Curtis Guillory is being honored throughout the Diocese of Beaumont. Guillory has announced his Retirement and recently celebrated his 75^th Birthday. Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Beaumont held a Mass and Reception for him. Dr. Cynthia Jackson is a member of that Parish. She is also Principal at St. Mary Catholic School. During the reception at her Church, she presented the Bishop with cards created by her students. The children made and decorated cards congratulating him on his retirement and wishing him a happy birthday.
