Have you seen Mary Gold the Run Away Scarecrow? Sandra Hoke from Keep Orange County Beautiful created Mary Gold for the Scarecrow Festival at Shangri La Gardens, but Mary ran away early last week. She has been moving around town to various stores to encourage folks to come see all the scarecrows at the Scarecrow Festival. So far she has visited Childs Hardware store, Lookin' Good Salon and Market Basket Grocery Next week she will be in several new locations!!

If you see her, take a selfie with her and send your picture to 740-837-7611 or post it to the Keep Orange County Beautiful Facebook page. There is a Door Prize for being the first one to find her at each location. Then join us at the Autumn Fair at Shangri La Gardens on Saturday November 3 for the Grand Prize drawing for two Tickets to the Lutcher Theater to see A Christmas Story, The Musical.

Remember the Scarecrow Festival runs from October 10 to November 3. Admission is free!
