Quick Holiday Bundt Cake

You can throw this dessert together in a New York minute, leaving more holiday time to do other things! Using a cake mix instead of the scratch method really saves time.


1 Bundt cake pan, sprayed with

cooking spray such as PAM

Large mixing bowl

Large mixing spoon or small mixer

Measuring cup

Fork for beating eggs

Serving plate or cake stand



4 large eggs, beaten

1-15 oz box chocolate cake mix

1-pkg chocolate instant pudding

3/4 c. water

3/4 c. sour cream

1/2 c. vegetable oil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make certain to spray 12-cup Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Beat eggs with fork in large bowl.

Combine eggs, cake mix, pudding mix, water, sour cream, and oil in large mixing bowl by hand or small

electric mixer. The sour cream, oil, and pudding mix create the moistness of the cake. Pour batter into Bundt pan. Bake 50-55 minutes. Cool about 1 hour in pan, then invert onto serving plate or cake stand. This is just an easy, delicious, plain Jane cake, so enjoy.
