Handmade from fine cypress wood, these two Trinity Baptist church members worked for a little over 3 weeks to cut, sand, and build this communion table for the church. At left is Norman Scott, a retired teacher and a plant worker, and at right is Greg Dickerson, a plant employee who also dabbles in graphic arts. The communion table is dedicated to long-time Baptist, the late Preston Nichols, a deacon at both Trinity Baptist and First Baptist of Orange churches for many, many years.
