Trunk or Trinkets is a new event to Little Cypress Junior High.

This is a food allergen-free Halloween Event, held at the Junior High, 6765 FM 1130 on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m.

to 12 p.m.

Children without allergies are also welcome to attend.

Not only will the kids attending get trinkets, there are activities, crafts, face painting, photos and fun.

The nationwide Trunks and Trinkets program was part of LCM alumni Caitlyn Sulak’s Girl Scout Gold Award project from 2016.

(I’m told this is the Girl Scout equivalent of the Boy Scout Eagle.

Caitlyn has lived with food allergies her whole life, so the project was a very personal one.

LCJH plans to make Trunk or Trinkets an annual event as a safe alternative to traditional Trick or Treat events.
