First Baptist Church of Bridge City members and other volunteers, including some high school football players, formed a human chain Wednesday afternoon to unload an 18-wheeler from New Mexico and set up the church's Pumpkin Patch on West Roundbunch Road. Pastor Keith Royal says the pumpkin sale, which benefits the church's water-well drilling mission work, is open from 10 a.m. to dark on weekdays, from 9 a.m to dark Saturdays and from noon to dark on Sundays while supplies last.
