Brendi Rae Richardson, 27, Bridge City

Brendi Rae Richardson was born October 28, 1993 in Port Arthur, Texas to Timothy Ernst and Angelina Michele Dickens. A native of Bridge City, Texas, she moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at an early age. Brendi, an excellent student and passionate soccer player at Temple University, graduated with a BS in Kinesiology. She continued to visit Texas throughout her life. Upon Graduation from college, Brendi returned to Texas to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. There, she met her body guard and best friend Drake Richardson of whom she married in December 22, 2018. Brendi enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Houston Community College in 2018. Having accepted Christ, she remained very committed with her faith and love for God. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Brendi leaves to cherish her husband - Drake Richardson, parents - Timothy (Melissa) Ernst of Bridge City, Texas & Angelina Michele Dickens of Etters, Pennsylvania, grandmother Imogene Ernst, three brothers - Benjamin (Brittany) Ernst of Bridge City, Texas, Sean (Helen) Aucoin of Frisco, Texas, Zak Wingle of Etters, Pennsylvania, two sisters - Brookelyn (Louis) Levesque of Deridder, Louisiana, Kali Wingle of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, four nieces - Kate Ernst, Abigayle Ernst, Freya Levesque, Madeline Aucoin, two nephews - Wyatt Ernst and Jax Ernst, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Elmer Ernst Sr., grandmother Angelina Dickens, and uncle Ricky Ernst. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor Edison Colbert, Jr. of Paradise Baptist Church in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Bridge City.
