Due to the Winter Storm that hit Orange County, South East Texas and other surrounding counties in Texas this week the decision was made not to publish this week's County Record and Penny Record Newspapers. The lack of electricity, internet and safety of our employees, as well as the press in Lufkin would not have safe driving to deliver the papers until at least Friday. This would not be fair to our family of advertisers to only have a partial week.

We appreciate our readers and advertisers and will be back next week on the 24th.
