Students participated in the BCHS Stark Reading Finals Thursday evening. 1st place winners won a $2000 scholarship, and 2nd place winners won a $1500 scholarship.
1st Place Declamation: Tuyen Le
1st Place Interpretive Reading: Waverlee Cooper
2nd Place Declamation: Raven Hankins
2nd Place Interpretive Reading: Emily Haynes.
The 1st place winners will compete at the county level on April 25th and will have the opportunity to win more scholarship money.
