Sin and Satan's Greatest defeat

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

On the day they crucified Jesus there was hopes by the religionist and others of that day that they would be finished with Jesus. Satan especially was seeking the end of Jesus, the Son of God. He knows that Jesus is on track to put him in hell someday, but he could only hope that this would resolve that for him. The Book of Acts says that if the princes of the land knew, they would not have made such a decision, but God the Father wrought a plan of salvation and destruction of Satan and his realm. Jesus would die for our sins. He would literally take the place of every believer in their judgment for sin. So, Satan's plan to eliminate Jesus failed miserably. Jesus said that three days and nights later He would rise again, and that that is exactly what happened. Not one historian in all their efforts to prove it didn't happen, have failed time and again. Jesus rose from death and the grave in His sovereign power.

For we believers and all who will come unto Him, there sin debt is completely paid. All of their sins have been paid for at the shedding blood of Jesus, and His resurrection from the death sealed the legitimacy of His sacrifice for sin. He washed our sins away under His shed blood. He is alive from the dead doing that work for whoever will believe, receiving Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Romans 5:8-10 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Jesus came to destroy Satan and sin and bring saving grace to all of us who believe and all others who will come unto Him. His resurrection confirmed who He is and that He did exactly what He came to do.

Now, we have the finished work of Jesus in our behalf at calvary and sealing it with His resurrection. So, do we just embrace it as a fact, or do we make it personal and receive Him in faith to be our Savior from sin? This thing by faith must be internalized, believed with clear reception of Jesus to now be the Lord and Savior of our soul and life. Will exercise godly faith, yea the faith of Jesus Christ and be saved? It is not something to happen in passing. You must accept that you are a sinner for whom Jesus came and died and rose again for and turn from the old life unto Him who will, as your Lord (Master), save you and seal you by His Holy Spirit as His and His child. You then have an awesome Father in heaven ready to meet you daily needs physically and spiritually.

This is as pure and holy as love can get. God sending His only begotten Son, thrice holy as He is, to lay His life down as the sacrifice for sinners is amazing.

May God bless you today with rejoicing in His saving grace in your life through Christ Jesus, the Lord.
