LCM One Act Play Headed To Regionals

Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School One Act Play was busy on both ends of Spring Break. The weekend before, the troupe earned Second in District Competition, which let them advance to Bi-District the next weekend. At Bi-District, they took First Place, earning the right to compete in Region on April 15, at Atascocita High School in Humble. Individual recognition was also earned by cast and crew members at both events. District Award Winners include Outstanding Technician - Hayden Gilley and Outstanding Tech Crew Overall. Acting Awards went to Rylie Dollar and John Paul Sulak for Honorable Mentions and All-Star Cast - Jessica Ridout. At Bi-District competition, award winners were Kayla McCarver for Outstanding Technician and Layden Webb and Cole Watson for Honorable Mentions, Rylie Dollar was All Star Cast, and Jessica Ridout was named Best Performer. The Theater Department will stage a home performance of Blue Stockings on April 9 and 10, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the LCM auditorium. Tickets are $5.
