My name is TAMMI FISETTE and I have filed for Re-Election, PLACE 3 on the Bridge City City Council.

Working together for the good of the community is what I believe makes a difference. Looking back over the last 6 years that you have allowed me to serve you and be your voice at City Hall, I can say it has been a pleasure and a blessing to represent you, our citizens of Bridge City. As Election Day approaches again I would be honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve you in the position of City Council Place 3 and work with my fellow City Council members to help Bridge City to keep moving forward. Contributing new ideas, work with continuing to improve and maintain the level of expectation our citizens want, our citizens need and that our citizens deserve. I would like to continue to work for, listen to and speak up for the citizens of Bridge City. Making decisions, being fair and consistent and keeping the best interest of ALL CITIZENS. I am extremely proud to work with our City Workers to ensure this happens in all departments, YOUR Water & Sewer, YOUR Street & Drainage, YOUR Library, YOUR Police Department, YOUR Municipal Court, YOUR Animal Control, YOUR Senior Citizens Hall, YOUR City Hall and YOUR CITY COUNCIL. I have learned what a BLESSING it truly is to serve. I feel the Lord has given me a heart to serve. I am thankful for each and every opportunity to go out in our City and meet with our citizens, listen to your concerns and to share ideas with you. To reach out to our Council members, our City Workers and neighboring organziations to come up with a plan to make Bridge City a better place to live. One thing my dad taught me was to always make a POSITIVE DIFFERENCE in as many lives as we possibly can. I believe in order to make a difference you have to LIVE OUT LOUD, and the one word that I can think of that best describes that would be "ACTION". Action requires getting involved and being willing to stand for what is right. It's about speaking up and being a voice that represents ALL CITIZENS. It's about searching our and finding those BLESSINGS when the storms come. It's about having High Standards and High Expectations which in turn will ensure we continue to do the very best we can. Always remembering - TO DO NOTHING IS NOT AN OPTION!

To tell you about myself, I have lived in Bridge City all my life. I am married to James Fisette. I am the daughter of Patsy Peters and the late Bridge City Municipal Judge Don Peters. My husband and I both graduated from Bridge City High School as did our children, Candi Cannon and Keith Lisette. I was raised in a Christian home and have Christian beliefs and values. Living for, loving and serving JESUS is most important to me. I am currently employed by Orange County as a Deputy Tax Clerk in the Orange County Tax Office for the past 2 years. Prior to my county position I was employed by Wal-Mart, working at the Bridge City and West Orange locations for a total of 35 years (23 of those years was in a Human Resource Manager / Training Coordinator position). My husband and I are members of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City where I am Blessed to have the opportunity to serve as one of the Sunday School Teachers in the adult department as well as serve on the Finance Committee. I have recently retired after 15 years from serving the citizens of Bridge City as an Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter and Chaplain with the Bridge City Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department / OCESD #2. My husband also served in the Fire Department for 31 years. I have served as Past President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Orange County Firefighters Association. I have served as a member of the Southeast Texas Critical Incident Stress Management Team. I served on the Bridge City Planning & Zoning Committee, prior to running for the position of City Council. I currently serve as Council Representative to the Planning & Zoning Committee.

Working together for the good of the community is what makes the difference. Life is all about helping people. I am asking for your support and your vote during Early Voting, April 19th - 27th and on Election Day May 1st, so I can continue to serve YOU, the Citizens of Bridge City as your Councilwoman Place 3.
