William Diamond Chapter, NSDAR, to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

The William Diamond Chapter will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on September 18, 2021, at the Old Orange Café. It will be combined with the annual Constitution Day Luncheon. The Chapter was organized in 1971, with 35 members.

To become a member, a woman must be 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American Independence. She must provide documentation, as well as the Revolutionary War service of her Patriot ancestor.

The chapter meets at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1156 Roundbunch Road, Bridge City, Texas on the third Tuesday of the month from October through May at 1:00 p.m.

DAR promotes Patriotism, Historical Preservation, Educational, Veterans and Women’s issues.
