Union Pacific has scheduled a temporary stop in West Orange for its “Big Boy” steam engine locomotive on Thursday, August 19, 2021 between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Due to the anticipated large pedestrian presence, traffic in the area will be rerouted during that time period. South Avenue will be closed between Henrietta and Broad Streets and thru-traffic from the South Avenue @ Holly Lane crossing will be rerouted as well.

Temporary parking will be available at McDonald Baptist Church at the corner of Broad Street and South Avenue.
