NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA OF THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT

OF ORANGE COUNTY, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 14, 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Orange County, Texas, will hold a Public Hearing regarding the Proposed Orange County Budget of Fiscal Year 2021-2022 on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Orange County Administration Building, 123 South 6th Street, Orange, Texas for the following purpose to-wit:

HEARING PURPOSE:

A Public Budget Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Orange County Administration Building, 123 South 6th Street, Orange, Texas. This is a public hearing on the proposed 2021-2022 Orange County Budget. This Budget will raise less revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of ($808,048), which is a 2% decrease from last year's budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $502,170. Any taxpayer of the county may attend and participate in the hearing.
