Running back coach DePauldrick Garrett stands with Mustang Elijah Gales, who broke Garrett's all time career rushing yard record on Friday night. Garrett has held the record for 14 years and Gales rushed for just enough yards to break the record of 3,257 yards on Friday against the Liberty Panthers.

Not only was it a big win for the Mustangs Friday night, but Elijah Gales rushed for enough yards to break the 14 year old record of career rushing yards held by his coach, DePauldrick Garrett.
