The Stark Museum of Art will open an encore presentation of its exhibit "Christmas from Charlie: Charles M. Russell Holiday Greetings" on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the Museum's Lobby gallery. The exhibit will remain on view through January 8, 2022.

The artist Charles Marion Russell loved Christmas time. The Stark Museum's exhibit features a selection of holiday greetings the artist sent to friends. His words and pictures spread good cheer. "Charlie Russell is a favorite artist of many western enthusiasts for his humor and down-to-earth approach. His holiday messages bring out a range of emotions that relate to many people's experiences," said Sarah Boehme, Curator. "At a time when holiday cards are being shared and enjoyed be sure to come see our collection of Charlie Russell's wonderfully illustrated works," said Ryan Farrell, Director, Exhibitions & Collections.
