The Daughters of the American Revolution, William Diamond Chapter, recognized the Bridge City Volunteer Fire Department on National First Responders Day.  In 2019, October 28 was designated to honor the men and women putting their lives at risk.  This includes firefighters, police, EMT, paramedics and 911 operators.  

Prior to the firemen's meeting, the DAR ladies presented cookies and snacks in appreciation of their service to the community.
