Graffagnino to run for OC Commissioner, PCT 2

Last updated 11/16/2021 at 3:35pm

My name is Jude Graffagnino, and I am running for Orange County Commissioner, Precinct 2. I have been married to my wife Jerri for 33 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters, a son in law and 2 granddaughters. We have lived in Orangefield for about 25 years and truly love this community. I currently am a Trustee on the OISD School Board and have previously served on the Board. We are members of St. Helen Catholic Church.

I am running for Precinct 2 Commissioner because I feel Orange County is approaching a crossroads. There are several things happening that could potentially change the landscape in Orange County. To ensure the residents of Precinct 2 and the county are in a favorable position on the other side of the crossroads, we need strong proven leadership. Someone who has experience with the oversight of tax dollars and how those tax dollars are spent. Someone who can prioritize the projects that get funded and which ones will have to wait. I am that candidate. As a Trustee for OISD, I have been involved with the rebuild and repairs after Hurricanes Harvey, Imelda and Laura. These experiences have given me insight in dealing with local, state and federal entities, and they all have their own unique rules and procedures.

I also feel our county should actively seek other tax revenue streams there are several advantages to lessening the tax burden of Orange County citizens

Since most of Precinct 2 is outside of city limits, our Sheriff's Department handles most of the law enforcement issues. To me, it stands to reason that the people of Precinct 2 need and deserve the best law enforcement and those officers should have the best tools at their disposal

A vote for Jude Graffagnino is a vote for proven leadership. If elected I will work tirelessly for the people of Precinct 2. I would appreciate your vote and support.

God Bless

Jude Graffagnino
