Jacob was our gentle giant with the sweetest spirit and the best hugs. He loved with everything he had and always made sure you knew it. His faith in the Lord brought him through every one of life’s struggles and he made sure to instill that same faith in his daughters. His faith and prayers were his pillars of strength and guidance, always praying before a hunting or fishing trip, and when he needed a little extra guidance from his Savior. Jacob’s girls were his entire world and there was nothing on Earth he was more proud of. He loved spending time outdoors every chance he could, a simple man with simple pleasures. Family was everything to Jacob and he meant everything to them. His kind heart and soft smile will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Giarratano, and Dallas and Mary Thibodeaux.

He is survived by his parents, Angie and David Thibodeaux; grandmother, Evelyn June Giarratano daughters, Kennedy Paige Thibodeaux and Briana Diane Thibodeaux, both of Orangefield; siblings, Ben Thibodeaux and wife Tilisa of Orangefield, and Patrice Diane Thibodeaux and spouse Robert Bertrand of Beaumont; nieces and nephews, Zane Allen Seelke, Tawni Dane Seelke, Sadie Reneé Thibodeaux and Micah David Thibodeaux; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Thibodeaux, Zane Seelke, Cain Whitten, Marc Shaw, Jay Carpenter, Richard “Porky” Byrd, Rory Slaughter.
