Ed Fowler, 78, Alvin

Ed Fowler, 78, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on January 22, 2022, in Beaumont.

Born in Vernon, Texas, on November 16, 1943, he was the son of Cloyd Aubrey Fowler and Emma Lee (Bryant) Fowler. Ed honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a handy man who loved to work around the house and build computers. Ed was known for telling “terrible dad jokes” that always kept his friends and family laughing. He enjoyed watching old time mystery movies during his down time. Ed was a family man most of all and would go above and beyond for his wife and daughter. He left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd and Emma Fowler, and siblings, Pat Stamps, Grover Fowler, and Alvin Fowler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angelic Fowler; daughter, Barbi Fowler of Arlington; and brother-in-law; Charlie Stamps.

Cremation will be under the direction of Simple Tributes by Claybar.
