Wallace "Wally" Comeaux, 93, Orange

Wallace “Wally” Comeaux, 93, formerly of Orange, passed away on January 23, 2022, in Hemphill.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Deacon David Bonneaux.

Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

A rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. with visitation to follow at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Crowley, Louisiana, on December 5, 1928, he was the son of Raymond Comeaux and Lucille (Matthews) Comeaux.

Wallace worked for DuPont in Orange as an electrician for over 40 years. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was an incredible man who left an impact on everyone he met. Wallace loved his family deeply and there was nothing he was more proud of. He will be forever cherished in the hearts of all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lucille Comeaux; wife, Euna Comeaux; daughter, Katherine Comeaux; and brothers, B.A. Comeaux and Robert Comeaux.

He is survived by his children, Judy Glende and husband Gary of Fairmount and Janice Robak and husband C.B. “Skip” Robak, Jr. of Newburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Tracy Glende and wife Janet, Jason Glende and wife Tiffany, Ben Robak and wife Lindsey, Sherry Heidorn and husband Doug; great-grandchildren, Regan Glende and wife Jessica, Tyler Glende, Ashlyn Glende, Megan Robak and fiancé Hunter, Casey Robak, Andrew Robak, Emma Robak, Emily Heidorn, Isabel Heidorn; great-great-grandchild, Tucker Frankenberger; and sister, Velma Derouen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Glende, Jason Glende, Regan Glende, Glenn Comeaux, Raymond Frederick and Carl Comeaux.

Honorary pallbearers are Gary Glende, Tyler Glende, Skip Robak, Ben Robak, Doug Heidorn and Tommy Comeaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee in Dad’s name.
