Carla Hedges, 71, of Port Arthur, passed away on March 11, 2022, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 18, 1950, she was the daughter of Willie Barnett Ware and Lillie Pearl Ware.

Carla was married to the love of her life for 48 wonderful years. She was a member of Seventh-Day Aventist Church in Beaumont and it was one of her favorite places. Carla always enjoyed telling her daughter how to cook.

She will be deeply missed by all that love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lillie Ware.

She is survived by her loving husband Carl Hedges of Port Arthur, daughter Shelly Kolar of Lumberton, and grandchildren, April Dodson, Kaylee Dodson, and Lily Allen.
