Addie Mae Snell Moleski, 96 (Known as MeeMaw), passed on April 2, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating

will be Deacon Melvin Payne. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, a rosary will begin at

10:30 a.m.

She was born on May 25 , 1925, to her parents Robert Lawrence & Addie Mae McDougale Snell, in Haile, LA.

Addie Mae was a graduate of Linville High School, Class of 1941. Attended College in Ruston, LA. She met her husband Michael Joseph Moleski, Jr of Scranton, PA while visiting in Dallas, TX. Married August 7, 1943.

She was a long-time resident of Orange, TX, 62 years, and moved to Sulphur, LA in 2005.

She worked as Office Manager for Texas Laundry & Cooks Cleaners for 19 years, Credit Manager for Wickersham Ford for 25 years and 1 day. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Orange, TX and when moved to Louisiana she became a member of St Theresa Church in Carlyss, LA. Served as President of the Lone Star Council of Credit Women 1960 – 1961 as well as Vice-President and Past President. She participated in Big Brothers and Big Sisters Bowling Fundraiser.

She was a member of several organizations VFW Auxiliary Post 2775, Bridge City & Sulphur Les Chapeaux Rouge Red Hats, Sassy Ladies of Orange, TX, Krewe of Calypso of Orange, TX, Krewe of Bon Coeur of Lake Charles, LA Dutchess 2002, and PHI BETA Sorority of Lake Charles. Her many travels were throughout the United States and Alaska, Bahamas, Canada, Hawaii, France, and Spain.

She never met a stranger, loved to have dinner and drinks with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many families and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are Josephine Moleski Monfils, (Ray), Rose Mare Moleski Young, her granddaughter Rhonda Michele Young Landry and (Trey Mills), great grandchildren; Caleb Michael Landry, Tanner Joseph Young, and Taylor Rae Young, all of Sulphur, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lawrence & Addie Mae McDougale Snell; her husband Michael of 51 years; her sisters, Rosalie Hunt, Mozelle Snell, Gwenth Roesser, brother, Arthur M. Snell, grandson, Danny Ray Young Jr., nephews, Barry A. Hunt and wife Judy, George E. Roesser; and brother-in-law, George Roesser Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Monfils, Caleb Landry, Tanner Young, Trey Mills, Michael Hunt, and Brent Emmons.
