Wilbur Klein, 93, Bridge City

Wilbur Klein, 93, of Bridge City, passed away on March 30, 2022, in his home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Henry Catholic Church. A rosary will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wilbur "Pete" Klein was born on June 14, 1928, in Mowata, Louisiana. He was one of ten children born to George and Lenia Klein. He served as a gunnery sargent in the U.S. Army Artillery Battalion. He was a faithful member ofSt. Henry Catholic Church and KC Council 3406 and was known for the many thousands of rosaries he made daily and gave away. His rosaries are being prayed around the world. After retirement from Spencer/Chevron he was an avid gardener and traveled across the United States with his wife Mildred in their Airstream travel trailer.

He was preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Mildred; granddaughter, Carrie Wallace Walpole; his parents, and several siblings. He is survived by his children, Randal Klein, Glen Klein and wife Susan, Ruth Wallace and husband Randy, Peggy Biddle and husband Sam all of Bridge City; grandchildren, Chris Klein and wife Tiffany of League City, Brad Wallace of Dallas, Sister Kelly Biddle of Houston, Cory Klein and wife Jalisha of Bridge City, Robert Biddle and wife Christine of Kingwood, Wes Biddle and wife Sherri of Groves; great-grandchildren, Billy Walpole, Tommy

Walpole, Natalie Klein, Madilyn and Carter Biddle, Ben, Adalyn and Jaxon Klein; and special brother-in-law, Harold Duhon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Klein, Cory Klein, Robert Biddle, Wes Biddle, Randy Wallace, Brad Wallace and Sam Biddle. Honorary pallbearer is Harold Duhon.

The gift of yourself and your love are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends, so desiring, make a memorial contribution in Pete's name to St. Henry Catholic Church at P.O.
