Tupper signs with Southeastern Louisiana University

Bridge City volleyball player Harlee Tupper signed on April 26 to play at Southeastern Louisiana University. Tupper played on the Lady Cardinals varsity volleyball team all four of her years at Bridge City.

Harlee was first team all-district in her sophomore year at Bridge City before making all-district and district MVP in both her junior and senior seasons. Tupper was chosen the top volleyball player in the area by multiple polls both seasons.

In her final year as a Lady Cardinal, Tupper led the volleyball team with 402 kills and 102 aces. She has been selected to play in the state all-star volleyball game to be held in June.

Coach Savanah DeLuna with the Bridge City volleyball team praised Harlee Tupper. "Harlee's the best representative of Bridge City High School. SLU will be truly blessed just as we have been to be able to know Harlee and her family. We're all aware of how amazing she is on a volleyball court, but beyond that she truly is one of the most amazing athletes I've had the privilege of coaching. She's always been nothing but respectful, she's hard working, and dedicated. She's exceptional on and off the court. She'll do great things, and we're all going to miss her so much, but we're also very proud of her," DeLuna said.
