Boy Scout Troop 23 honors funeral procession

Boy Scout Troop 23 from Orange was having a link sale to raise money for summer camp this past weekend.  As a funeral procession approached, the Troop members lined the sidewalk, removed their caps placing them over their hearts and stood until the procession passed.

The funeral home directors noticed and were impressed and touched with the respect shown by the Scouts and the positive life lessons taught by the leaders. Kyle Hogg with Claybar Funeral Home went back and got this picture of the troop. Warren Claybar shared "Wow. We live in a great community. I received my Eagle Scout as a member of that troop." Claybar Funeral Home matched what money was raised Saturday.
