Susan An MacCammond, 64, Bridge City

Susan An MacCammond, 64, of Bridge City, passed away on May 11, 2022, at Magnolia Manor in Groves.

Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 17 th with visitation starting at 3:00 P.M., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Rudy Elizondo of Well of Hope in Bridge City.

Visitation will be 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Susan was born in Groves, Texas, on December 3, 1957, she was the daughter of James Lloyd and Jo An MacCammond. Known by family and friends as Susie, she always had a smile on her face and never once met a stranger. Susie was always the most outgoing person in the room, she loved people and there wasn't anyone that didn't feel the same about her. She really enjoyed her job with the Bridge City Independent School district because she was able to interact with the kids in the athletic department where she spent the last few years of her nearly 25 year career.

She also enjoyed working and spending time outdoors whenever she had the time. Susie was always cutting up and making jokes, she had a wonderful sense of humor that kept everyone laughing. She loved being around kids and spending time with her family any chance she could. She attended Well of Hope church in Bridge City before becoming too sick to travel.

Susie was so loved by all her family and friends, she will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lloyd and Jo An MacCammond; and nephew, Eric MacCammond.

She is survived by her brothers, Mike MacCammond and wife Lynette, Keith MacCammond, and Hugh MacCammond and wife Sabrina. Along with nieces, Amber Strong and husband Larry, Authum Pelly and husband Lee, Jenna Dominguez and husband Bobby, Megan Trahan and husband Scott, Kensi Williams and husband Clayton, nephews Aaron MacCammond and wife Shanna and Scot MacCammond and wife Stacey. Also surviving

were great nieces Abigail Stout and husband Tucker, Marlie, Emery and Lakely Strong, Anndi Dominguez, Emily Trahan and Lilly MacCammond. Great nephews, Drew Dominguez, Jonathon and Jake Trahan, James and Zakk Mason and James MacCammond, Ian and Sterling MacCammond. Along with three great great nieces and five great great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bridge City ISD Athletic Department or Magnolia Manor at 4400 Gulf Ave, Groves, Texas 77619.
