Chase Miller, 28, Orange

Chase Miller, 28, of Orange, was taken away from this world the morning of June 25, 2022.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Tony Wilcoxson. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

He was born in Orange, Texas, on October 13, 1993. Chase was a father of four and loved his children with his whole heart. Chase has been a Process Operator for Solvay for many years. If he wasn’t fishing, he was hunting. He enjoyed frog hunting, playing cornhole and spending time with his family. Chase will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceeded in death by his great grandparents, Floyd and Maisie Bertrand; his mawmaw, Delores Bertrand; grandparents, Sam and Melissa Carpenter; and sister, Samantha Villerie.

He leaves behind four sons, Christopher David, Camden James, Gunner Ray and Wyatt Jace; mother, Misty Roberts and husband Chad of Orange, father Tommy Gordon; pawpaw, Shnery “Cho” Bertrand of Orangefield; brother, Michael Gordon and wife Kelsey and their son Eli of Vidor; sisters, Katlin and husband David Mena of Lumberton; Breelyn Roberts, Angelle Cotton, and Emily Cotton; brothers, Brandon Cotton, Issac Cotton, Zachary Roberts and Andrew Roberts; mother of his children Jayme Miller; fiancé, Christina Beavers; as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless others whom he was like a big brother.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Gordon, David Mena, Freddy Guerra, Stanley Carpenter, Colby Dodge, Tommy Gordon, Aaron Hebert, Brandon Cotton, and Issac Cotton. Honorary pallbearers are Kendrick Castilaw, Drew Rodriguez, and Christopher Christensen.
