Stacey Farrel Tucker of Beaumont, Texas passed away at his home surrounded by family on June 29, 2022, at the age of 56.

Stacey was born on November 30, 1965, in Abbeville, Louisiana to Farrel and Mary Tucker. He loved to play baseball for grade school in Center, Texas and then studied geology at Northeast Louisiana University.

Stacey was a deeply giving person; one of his favorite gifts to give were making sure that everyone, especially little kids, caught their first fish and learned how to use a backhoe. In the evenings, he'd give the gift of laughter and community by sharing adventures of his life growing up. When spending time inside with family, Stacey enjoyed playing MarioKart, Wii Tennis, Wits and Wagers, and being the permanent guesser for Pictionary. He was a revered grill master and catfish fryer, and Stacey would often host steak nights on the back porch. He was not a man of many words, so when he spoke it was important, well thought out, and usually held a good lesson (or joke).

Stacey battled cancer with strength, grace, and humor; he never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Farrel and Mary Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jill Matte Tucker; children, Molly Tucker, Garret Tucker, and Claire Tucker all of Beaumont; sister, Stephanie Standley and husband Cory of Rogers, Arkansas; nieces, Stacie Subbert Bittle and Monica Staton both of Arkansas; step-mother, Janice Tucker of Lampasas, Texas.
