Orange Chamber fun with purse bingo

People coveting a designer purse without a designer price can have invest in the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce's latest fundraising project.
Purse Bingo will have prizes of purses, bags, and totes from some of the most popular designers including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Michael Kors, and Coach. The event will be the evening of Friday, August 5, at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center on FM 1442. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and games will start at 6:30 p.m.
Sponsorship tables are currently available for $600. That price gets a reserved table for eight with each person getting dinner and drink tickets, along with bingo cards and door prize tickets. Each table will also get a bottle of wine plus bingo card daubers. July 29 is the deadline to buy a sponsorship.
Individual tickets are $60 and each person will receive dinner, two drink tickets, bingo cards, and a door prize ticket.
In Purse Bingo, the game prizes are the purses that sell for hundreds of dollars each. The bags chosen as prizes are in a variety of styles, colors, materials and sizes.
Reservations and tickets are available through the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce at 409-883-5636. The chamber office is at 1012 Green Avenue in downtown Orange.
