Dewayne "Dee Dee" Daugereau, 84, Orange

Dewayne “Dee Dee” Daugereau, 84, of Orange, passed away on July 12, 2022, at Oakwood Manor in Vidor.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Jack Comer of Circle Drive Baptist Church in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 20, 1938, she was the daughter of Margaret and James Harrington, Sr. Dee Dee was a dedicated Christian woman her whole life. She loved her kids and grandkids and never passed up a time to get together with family.

Dee Dee spent her spare time dancing with friends, going to the casino or playing bingo.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and James Harrington, Sr.; infant daughter, Peggy Ann; brother, James “Bubba” Harrington, Jr.; and stepson, Terry Daugereau.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Davis and Clayton Authement of Orangefield; stepdaughters, Debbie Cappadona and husband Ross of Orange, Jeanie Oullette of Hattisburg, MS; granddaughters, Jennifer Higgins and husband Jason of Vidor, Kristie Curtis, Kayla Coffman, Cher Weldon; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Higgins, Landon Higgins both of Vidor; brother, Johnny Harrington and wife Trudy of Orangefield; sisters, Peggy Lowery

of High Island, Charlotte Anderson and husband Dow of Bridge City; sister-in-law, Mazie Harrington of Winnie; and life long friend, Millie Bland of High Island.
