Amy Lynn Green, age 41 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. A memorial service to honor Amy’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church of Deweyville with Rev. John Fortenberry officiating. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with care and arrangements.

Amy was born on July 7, 1981 in Houston, Texas to parents Christina Ann Crossland and William Green. She lived most of her life in Deweyville, Texas. Amy was a very talented artist that worked with many different mediums. Her acrylic works seemed to make her the happiest, but she often found herself repurposing and restoring antiques. She enjoyed making jewelry. Amy loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a care free, outgoing and colorful personality. Amy will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Christina Busby and sister Tabetha Green.

Those left to cherish her memory are her love of her life Justin Thompson, sons Damian Sheppard and Isaiah Sheppard, twin daughters Avelynn Thompson and Evayne Thompson, father Billy Green, step father Cecil Busby, brother Mathew Green and his wife Stephanie, sister Briana Busby, father of her sons Brian Sheppard and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
