Kenneth Charles Hughes passed away on September 23, 2022, at Jefferson Nursing Home.
Born on July 8, 1945, to his parents, Burton Kenneth Hughes and Mayme B. Retherford Mitchell in Springhill, Louisiana.
Kenneth served in the Air Force after graduating from Lutcher Stark High School in 1965.
He is preceded in death by his dad; and stepdad, Cecil B. Mitchell.
He is survived by his mother; sisters, Sandra Casey and “Larry”, and Cecilia Bickham; daughter, Maliwan and four granddaughters all of Thailand.
We would like to thank everyone at Jefferson Nursing Home for taking care of him.
Also for all the Kindred Hospice nurses and staff.
There will be no service, cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
