Sandra Franks, loving mother and grandmother, age 67, of Orange, Texas, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Services to honor Sandra will be held at Dorman Funeral Home on October 8, 2022 at 6:30PM. Visitation will be held prior to service from 5:30PM to 6:30PM.

Sandra was born in McArthur, Ohio, on Monday, April 11, 1955, to parents Roberta and James Paul Conley. After graduating from Stark High School, in Orange, Texas, Sandra met and married the love of her life, Kevin Franks. She was a free spirit, loving life to its fullest. She rejoiced in being a devoted wife and mother. Her grandsons were the “lights of her life”. In the 1980’s, Sandra modeled for “Ladies of the 80’s”, relishing every second of it. Sandra had a servant’s heart, thriving and happiest when throwing birthday parties, and holiday gatherings, to make others feel special; providing meals, making sure everyone had something to eat when they visited her and laughing often. Sandra provided a loving home and offered refuge, and comfort, to anyone who needed it. Nature was another passion Sandra found comfort in; the lake was her happy place. Sitting beside the water brought her peace. She loved the blooms of all flowers, as they attracted the butterflies and hummingbirds; she could watch them for hours. Sandra Franks will be deeply missed and always cherished by her family and all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Ray Franks; parents, Roberta and James Paul Conley; daughter, Elizabeth Nicole Ewing; and brother, “Mike” Michael Conley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Devin Michelle Franks-Miller and husband, Luke Miller, of Orange, Texas; brothers, Randy Conley and wife, Sallie, of Beaumont, Texas, and Jim Conley and wife, Judy, of Broaddus, Texas; grandchildren, Elijah Reynolds and Mykel Miller; bonus grandchildren, Roshni Lauji, Fox Miller, Fawn Miller, Tori Dotson, Samantha Ford, Kyrstan Ford, JonathanCarroll Jr., S'Vana Roberts, Desmond Coward, and Garret Birmingham; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Coulter, Jeffery Conley, Sara Newman, Joseph Conley, and Jonah Conley; numerous great nieces and nephews.
