Deborah Ann Strother, 65, of Vidor, passed away on October 17, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on January 7, 1957, she was the daughter of Jack Butler and Jonell Mcmurray.

Deborah tried to collect as many of the little chicken what nots that she could. She loved to put on her fanciest jewelry. Deborah could normally be found in her garden planting the most beautiful flowers. She was a wonderful cook and her favorite thing was making chicken and dumplings with her daughter. Deborah enjoyed watching and being part of all thing’s beauty pageants. She tried to spend all of her extra time being with her family. Deborah will be dearly missed by all those who got to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Butler and brother, Jack Butler, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Richard Strother; mother, Jonell Puett of Morganton, Nc; children, Toby Strother and wife Crystal of Moss Bluff, La, Kelly Hayes and husband Grey of Vidor, Tx, Nicholas Strother of Vidor, Tx, Morgan Peterson and husband Sean of Vidor, Tx, Skylar Strother of Vidor, Tx; her 12 grandchildren, Cayden, Hannah, Olivia, Ean, Ryan, Cameron, Lane, Amelia, Athan, Jonah, Keegan, Harlow; siblings, Jim Guidry and wife Tachie of Minneapolis, Mn, Joey Butler of Minneapolis Mn, and Dana Mouton and husband Blake of Lafayette, La.
