Denny Carl Smith II, age 76, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Vidor, Texas. Family and friends will gather Monday, October 24, 2022 for visitation at Dorman Funeral Home from 11:00A.M. – 12:00P.M. a graveside service will follow at 2:00P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Monday October 24, 2022.

Denny was born to parents Julia and Denny C. Smith I in Orange, Texas on January 28, 1946. He worked as a machinist and could fix or build anything imaginable. He was a volunteer firefighter for Orange VFD, was a proud member of the Lions Club and cherished all opportunities to do anything he could helping others. Denny loved to laugh and could get in more trouble than you could shake a stick at with long time friends Larry David and Herschel Stagner. The last fifteen years of his life was spent with his loving partner Susan Jackson.

Preceding Denny in death is his parents Julia and Denny C. Smith.

Denny is survived by partner Susan Jackson; stepson, Chad W. Clement and wife Blanca of New Caney, Texas; daughter, Linda Richardson and husband W.C. of Orange, Texas; sister, Sandra Hofford and husband Everett of Orange, Texas; numerous grandchildren including, Julia Fay Richardson and Nick Emmons and wife Megan; great-grandchildren, Hayden Emmons, Hunter Emmons and Riley Myers; and a host of extended family and friends.
