Claude Daniel Killian, Sr., 83, Orange

Claude Daniel Killian, Sr., 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Services will be held at Dorman Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Rite of committal and interment will immediately follow, at Ida Wilson Cemetery. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Claude was born on Saturday, March 18, 1939, to Hebert and Jessie (Powell) Killian. He was a lifelong resident of southeast Texas, and worked as a pipefitter, with Local Union #195, until he retired. Claude enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and gardening. He was also known for his singing and his love of karaoke. Claude loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Preceding Claude in death is his wife of 59 years, Mary Lou Killian; parents, Herbert and Jessie Killian; son, Danny Killian; brothers, Herbert Killian, Jr., Mitchell Killian, and Charles “Ned” Killian; and great-great-granddaughter, Charlee Ann Foster.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Annette DeLoach and husband, Rusty, of Orange, Texas; brother, Timothy Paul Killian, of Burkeville, Texas; sisters, Judith Portie, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Becky Vanicor, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Debbie Walmsley and husband, Bob, of Woodville, Texas, and Nannie Lou Willis, of Orangefield, Texas; grandchildren, Shon Craig and wife, Brandy, Doug Craig and wife, Alicia, Kimberly DeLoach, Weston Desormeaux and wife, Amy, Daniel Killian and wife, Zoe, and Cole Killian; great-grandchildren, Alana Craig, Alivia Craig, Lane Craig, Mason Butler, Destanie Monson, Kourtney Baldwin, Caden Chandler, Kage Chandler, Avery Desormeaux, Casen Desormeaux, and Ember Lou Killian, who will be arriving soon; and great-great-grandchildren, Natilynn Foster and Asher Monson; and dearest friend and caregiver, Mark Paul.

Honoring Claude as Pallbearers are Doug Craig, Shon Craig, Mark Paul, Daniel Killian, Luke Herrin, Justin Lee, Lane Craig, and Mason Butler; Honorary pallbearers Ryan Lofton and Bobby Hudson.
