illy Carl Stovall, 61, Lumberton

illy Carl Stovall, 61, of Lumberton, passed away on November 21, 2022.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother Brad Jones. Burial will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Kirbyville.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on March 5, 1961, he was the son of Billy Stovall and Faye Smith. Billy was a true cowboy and was proud to be involved with team roping. He enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing, as well as listening to good music and dancing the night away. He loved being able to spend time with his family and friends and all the people he cared about so much. Billy will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Faye Stovall; and infant daughter, Krislie Stovall.

He is survived by his children, Jason Stringer and Shelby Stovall; grandchild, Melody Stringer; fiancée, Monique Braudrick; brother, Mark Stovall and wife Ashli; sister, Shree Newton and husband Darrell; and nephew, Cooper Stovall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Garth House and CASA Association for Children.
