Elaine Duncan, 97, of Orange, passed away on December 12, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Born in Shelbyville, Texas, on February 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Albert Earl Errington and Nina Mae Errington. Elaine was a hardworking woman throughout her life, caring for her household and family, along with being involved with her church. S

he loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She also had a very giving heart and enjoyed spending time with her friends, knitting, and camping with her husband, Joe. Elaine touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Albert Duncan; parents, Albert and Nina Errington; daughter, Ila Faye Williams; and sister, Katherine Archey.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Holmes and husband Gary; grandchildren, Tommy Williams and wife Liz Gay-Williams, Chad Holmes, and Clint Holmes; great-grandchildren, Cody Williams and wife Brooke, Dustin Holmes, Shelby Lindsey and husband Travis, Trent Holmes, Samantha Holmes, Lindsey Perkins, and Jordan Briley; great-great-grandchildren, Gavin Williams and Sadie Williams; sisters, Jean Delafosse and Jay Gilliam; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving friends and family.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
