Evelyn Coker Pearce McGee, 93, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on December 23, 2022, at her home in Hammond.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Officiating will be her grandchildren, Cary Riche and Tim Riche. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 27, 1929, she was the daughter of George "Dewey" and Katherine Coker. Evelyn dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was an amazing mother, daughter, and friend. Evelyn's memory will be cherished by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clay Pearce; second husband, Clifton McGee; parents, George "Dewey" and Katherine Coker; step-son, James "Sonny" McGee; and step-daughters, Veta McGee Anthony and Rita McGee Okervall.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Pearce Riche and Nancy Pearce Crowell; grandchildren, Aaron Spears, Denise Brom, Michelle Synder, Cliff Anthony, Jamie Blanchard, Sonia Langham, Sonny McGee Jr., Jered Montgomery, Kevin Crowell, Doug Crowell, Cary Riche, and Tim Riche; and her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
