Mary Lynn Campbell, 67, of Orange, Texas passed away on January 7, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Well of Hope Christian Fellowship in Bridge City, Texas.

Officiating will be Pastor Rudy Elizondo. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2023, at Aimwell Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Zwolle, Louisiana, on October 19, 1955, she was the daughter of Dennis and Ollie Bell Armstrong.

Mary dedicated her life to Christ and was a member of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship in Bridge City. She worked as a cafeteria manager for Deweyville Independent School District for over 30 years. In her leisure time, Mary loved shopping, garage sales, reading romance novels, and recently, she found a new love for cruises. Mary adored her husband of almost 48 years, Jeffery Lynn Campbell. She came from a very large family that she loved dearly, but she especially spoiled her grandchildren who referred to her as “Memaw”. Mary was an amazing woman who will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Ollie Bell Armstrong; brothers, John Riley Armstrong, Manuel Armstrong; and sisters, Darline Knippers, and Jo Ann Youngblood.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Campbell; children, Chris Campbell and his wife, Kammie, Christina Watkins and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Bentley Watkins, Marlee Watkins, Abriella Grace; brother, Don Armstrong and his wife, Julie of Baton Rouge; and sisters, Linda Wilbanks of Florien, Louisiana, Hattie Chamber of Parrish, Alabama, Betty Gooden of Bloomington, Illinois, Genevieve Gordon and husband, Al of Many, Louisiana, Nell Arterberry and husband, Ricky of Marthaville, Louisiana, and Charlotte Heard and husband, of Joel of Many, Louisiana.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kurt Stephenson, Jay Bandeau, Tommy Marze, Ashton Marze, Todd Marze, and David Lagrange. Honorary pallbearer is Nick Slaydon.
